We collect information about you when you engage with us to use our facility, as well as when you book on to the classes on our website, or when you send us a CV in response to a current job vacancy.
We hold your personal information for your membership records. This information is only shared with HARLANDS who are our Direct Debit company. All information is stored securely and is not accessible to anyone other than Route 2 Fitness staff.
Why do we collect and use your personal data?
The information we collect from you is essential for us to set you up as a member at Route 2 Fitness. Your details are used to set up Direct Debit payments which can't be set up otherwise.
How long do we keep hold of your information?
In principle, your personal data should not be held for longer than is required under the terms of our contract for services with you. However, we are subject to regulatory requirements to retain data for specified minimum periods. We also reserve the right to retain data for longer than this due to the possibility that it may be required to defend a future claim against us. We will retain your personal data for a minimum of 7 years.
We do however, delete your personal data off our computer sign in system if you have not been a member of the gym for 12 months.
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We will comply with this request, subject to the restrictions of our regulatory obligations and legitimate interests as noted above.
How can I access the information you hold about me?
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information please email or write to us using the contact details noted below.

CCTV operates 24/7 within our premises. Cameras are in use for insurance and security purposes only. No footage is uploaded onto public servers / websites or social media platforms.
